Protecting your data matters to us. This website is built to process as little data as possible – here's a transparent overview of what happens.

Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by Strato AG (Berlin, Germany). When you visit, the server automatically processes technical data (e.g. IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to deliver the site securely. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in stable, secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted automatically by the host according to its retention periods.

Cookies & consent

We don't set any cookies of our own unless you agree. Your choice in the cookie notice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage entry "liva-consent") – it never leaves your device. You can change your selection at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Google Analytics 4

Only if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie notice do we load Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Ltd. (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies and processes information about your use of the site; your IP address is transmitted in shortened form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. Google services may transfer data to the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Google Maps (click-to-load)

On the contact page, we only embed a Google Map after you actively click "Load map". Only then is data (including your IP address) transmitted to Google. Without that click, no connection to Google is made. The legal basis is your consent expressed by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Getting in touch

If you contact us by email or phone (e.g. to reserve a table), we process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We don't pass them on and delete them once no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Just contact liva@liva.world.
